The TQSqlEditorFactory class is used to create the editors
used by < a href = "tqdatatable.html" > TQDataTable< / a > and < a href = "tqsqlform.html" > TQSqlForm< / a > .
< p >
< p > TQSqlEditorFactory is used by TQDataTable and TQSqlForm to
automatically create appropriate editors for a given < a href = "tqsqlfield.html" > TQSqlField< / a > .
For example if the field is a TQVariant::String a < a href = "tqlineedit.html" > TQLineEdit< / a > would
be the default editor, whereas a TQVariant::Int's default editor
would be a < a href = "tqspinbox.html" > TQSpinBox< / a > .
< p > If you want to create different editors for fields with the same
data type, subclass TQSqlEditorFactory and reimplement the
< a href = "#createEditor" > createEditor< / a > () function.
< p > < p > See also < a href = "tqdatatable.html" > TQDataTable< / a > , < a href = "tqsqlform.html" > TQSqlForm< / a > , and < a href = "database.html" > Database Classes< / a > .

< h3 class = fn > < a name = "TQSqlEditorFactory" > < / a > TQSqlEditorFactory::TQSqlEditorFactory ( < a href = "tqobject.html" > TQObject< / a > * parent = 0, const char * name = 0 )
< / h3 >
Constructs a SQL editor factory with parent < em > parent< / em > , called < em > name< / em > .
< h3 class = fn > < a name = "~TQSqlEditorFactory" > < / a > TQSqlEditorFactory::~TQSqlEditorFactory ()
< / h3 >
Destroys the object and frees any allocated resources.
< h3 class = fn > < a href = "tqwidget.html" > TQWidget< / a > * < a name = "createEditor" > < / a > TQSqlEditorFactory::createEditor ( < a href = "tqwidget.html" > TQWidget< / a > * parent, const < a href = "tqvariant.html" > TQVariant< / a > & variant )< tt > [virtual]< / tt >
< / h3 >
Creates and returns the appropriate editor widget for the < a href = "tqvariant.html" > TQVariant< / a >
< em > variant< / em > .
< p > The widget that is returned has the parent < em > parent< / em > (which may be
zero). If < em > variant< / em > is invalid, 0 is returned.
< p > Reimplemented from < a href = "tqeditorfactory.html#createEditor" > TQEditorFactory< / a > .
< h3 class = fn > < a href = "tqwidget.html" > TQWidget< / a > * < a name = "createEditor-2" > < / a > TQSqlEditorFactory::createEditor ( < a href = "tqwidget.html" > TQWidget< / a > * parent, const < a href = "tqsqlfield.html" > TQSqlField< / a > * field )< tt > [virtual]< / tt >
< / h3 >
This is an overloaded member function, provided for convenience. It behaves essentially like the above function.
< p > Creates and returns the appropriate editor for the < a href = "tqsqlfield.html" > TQSqlField< / a > < em > field< / em > .
< h3 class = fn > < a href = "tqsqleditorfactory.html" > TQSqlEditorFactory< / a > * < a name = "defaultFactory" > < / a > TQSqlEditorFactory::defaultFactory ()< tt > [static]< / tt >
< / h3 >
Returns an instance of a default editor factory.
< h3 class = fn > void < a name = "installDefaultFactory" > < / a > TQSqlEditorFactory::installDefaultFactory ( < a href = "tqsqleditorfactory.html" > TQSqlEditorFactory< / a > * factory )< tt > [static]< / tt >
< / h3 >
Replaces the default editor factory with < em > factory< / em > . All
< a href = "tqdatatable.html" > TQDataTable< / a > and < a href = "tqsqlform.html" > TQSqlForm< / a > instantiations will use this new factory
for creating field editors. < em > TQSqlEditorFactory takes ownership of \ a factory, and destroys it when it is no longer needed.< / em >
